The Doctor like you've never seen him before!

May 2nd, 2006

I've just previewed the first three episodes of the new season, "New Earth", "Tooth and Claw", and "School Reunion". First two are good episodes, no doubt, though "New Earth" does move at a rather frenzied pace and "Tooth" does far too much "chasing 'round the corridors" (although that's made up by one of the best cgi werewolves made for TV).

But "School Reunion"? Absolutely the highlight of the season (and we still have four episodes of Cybernetic goodness to come).

Gonna avoid a lot of spoilage here, because you'll want to see this at our June meeting. In fact, it, along with several special features accompanying it, will be our only presentation at the June meeting. But to say the least, we suggest you bring lots of kleenex. It's not the tear-jockey "Father's Day" was, but anyone who has ever loved Sarah Jane Smith and K-9 will need 'em.

April 28th, 2006

Lo and behold, the GALLIFREYAN GAZETTE for April/May is complete, a hefty 12-pager with gobs of news, two MARK AND DEE comic strips continuing Mickey's first night with Tandy, and two well-known personages from Gotham City wrap up our credit section. We'll have it available this weekend at the regular Whoosier Network meeting (see Who-Net Particulars for details).

April 24th, 2006 - Getting ready for InConJunction

Still doing a little tinkering with the Who-Net room schedule for INCONJUNCTION, but I think it's coming along great. We won't be running a whole lot of episodes from the original series, as we're not going to be doing a 24-hour set-up like last year ('cause we're old and we needs our sleep) and we're making more room for panels, contests, live performing, and, of course, the second year of the new Doctor Who! Just click on the Incon logo above to see what great stuff is coming up at this year's extravaganza.

April 10, 2006 - We're Back!

The DooleysI can’t believe it! We’re back! We’re actually back!

Well, the first thing I wanna do is thank everyone for their infinite patience while we underwent massive amounts of computer renovation this last fall, which will do nothing but improve things around here exponentially. Our last chink in the armor to shore up was trying to find one of my old web builders that was compatible to my Yahoo account.

And by golly… here we are!
